Post-colonial love by the Theatre Company Hotel Europa

The performance "Post-Colonial Love" delves on the meaning of love in the framework of the colonial and post-colonial period, launching the reflexion on what love is as a political and utopian concept. It will take the stage at Theatre Campo Alegre, on 10 and 11 May, at 7pm and 10pm, respectively.

John Goodenough, widely credited for the identification and development of the Lithium-ion battery, will donate 500 thousand dollars to the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), with the aim of supporting the work developed by the team of Maria Helena Braga, researcher and professor at FEUP.

Calling everyone to race and walk for autism on 1 May in Porto

The City Park hosts the race and Walk with Autism in Porto, on 1 May. The Race is scheduled for 10.30am and the Walk is set to begin half an hour later. The goal of the race is to raise awareness for autism by educating and empowering those with autism to do great things and those without it with a deeper level of love and empathy for their fellow human beings.

UPTEC and LIPOR promote international competition for cleantech ideas

Submissions are invited for the biggest cleantech competition in the world, where finalists will be awarded a prize Money of 17 thousand euros.
