Set the date: on 5th July head to Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota, as Seu Jorge and Daniel Jobim will perform the most iconic songs by Tom Jobim, the internationally famous Brazilian composer, pianist, songwriter, arranger and singer.

Porto was home to two events under the "Cultura em Expansão" programme; on 7th March, the Church of São Pedro de Miragaia was stage to a concert by Lula Pena, and, the night before, the auditorium of Campanhã hosted a performance by Miguel Pereira. The events were access free, as all events of "Cultura em Expansão", and the public filled the venues.

"Ghost Master", by Paul Young, was the winner of Best Film Award at the 40th edition of Fantasporto. The event took place at Rivoli, from 25th February to 8th March. "Dancing Mary", by Japanese director Sabu, was awarded the Special Jury Prize and "Clarita", by Roderick Cabrido, received the Best Director award. Check out the other winners.

"Hollywood Icons" exhibition takes to Portuguese Photography Centre, in Porto, tomorrow, 6th March. It is the amazing chance to appreciate the portraits of Hollywood gold; actors and actresses that make Hollywood the place where stars are born. The exhibition kicks off on 6th March and runs till 7th June. Opening hours are from 10am to 7pm. There are guided tours and tickets cost 6 euros.

Itinerary to Souto de Moura's work: the goal is to bring the general public closer to the work of one of the most prize-winning and recognized Portuguese architects of this era, organised by the Casa da Arquitectura and running from March to September. The first visit takes place on 28th March, at 11am, and it includes the project Metro do Porto.

You have until today to visit the Louis Jay's photography exhibition at Leica Gallery Porto. Entrance is free.

The second cycle of Inaugurações Simultâneas [Simultaneous Openings] at Miguel Bombarda District is back on 14th March. Between 4pm and 8pm, art galleries open doors and welcome everyone to experience art in person. All events are access free.

Porto Symphonic Orchestra features Stravinsky's compositions under Michael Sanderling's baton, at Casa da Música, Sala Suggia, on 28th February, at 9pm. The programme features Circus Polka and Firebird, among other compostions by the Russian composer Igor Stravinsky.

Fantasporto has been celebrating the film industry for the past 40 years. This year, the Cinema Festival of Porto, which runs from 20th February till 8th March, highlights issues such as child exploitation, migrations, the role of social media in relationships and gentrification. It will also honour the welsh director Julian Richards, who will receive the Awards Career.
