Porto Municipal Theatre (TMP) joined the DDD + FITEI 2019 for a programming on dance and theatre, of over two dozen performances, workshops, meetings, associated activities and after-show parties.
Post-colonial love by the Theatre Company Hotel Europa
The performance "Post-Colonial Love" delves on the meaning of love in the framework of the colonial and post-colonial period, launching the reflexion on what love is as a political and utopian concept. It will take the stage at Theatre Campo Alegre, on 10 and 11 May, at 7pm and 10pm, respectively.
National premiere of "The Ballet of Paul Ace and Sunny Lovin" at Campo Alegre
"The Ballet of Paul Ace and Sunny Lovin" is the third performance that artists and performers Raul Maia and Thomas Steyaert take to the stage, at Campo Alegre, on 4 and 5 May at 5pm and 3pm, respectively.

The visual artist Rui Palma presents the photo exhibit "Em casa" ["At Home", free translation], in the context of the DDD - Days of the Dance Festival 2019, which will be on display at the Rivoli Theatre, from 24 April till 25 May.

Christian Rizzo delivers a Masterclass in the framework of the DDD - Days of the Dance Festival on 25 April, from 11.30am to 13.30pm at the Sala de Ensaios of Rivoli. This Masterclass explores the making of "Une Maison", a performance that will debut at the Grand Auditorium of Rivoli, on 27 April, at 10am.
Duo Litanei will go on stage at Rivoli on 13 April
Duo Litanei, made of cello player Hugo Paiva and pianist Mrika Sefa go on stage at Rivoli, Small Auditorium, on 13 April, at 5pm. This event is jointly organized by the Silva Monteiro Music Programme.
"Welcome" to the Theatre Campo Alegre with Balleteatro
Tiago Sarmento premieres his performance "Welcome" at Theatre Campo Alegre, on 4 April, with two shows at 5pm and at 9pm. Fiction becomes a continuous and current reality, with three young actresses volunteering to go to a Refugees camp in Moria, the Greek Island of Lesbos.
Staged concert for puppets and robotic orchestra at Campo Alegre
The Theatre Company "Teatro de Ferro", jointly with Sonoscopia, features the staged concert for puppets, robotic orchestra and video themed "W". It premieres on 29 March at Campo Alegre Auditorium.
Time Regained by Raúl Ruiz screened at Rivoli
The Small Auditorium of Rivoli features the single session of "Time regained", the 1999 French drama film directed by the Chilean filmmaker Raúl Ruiz from Prout's masterpiece "Le Temps retrouvé", starting at 9.30 pm.

The 39th edition of International Film festival Fantasporto, themed "the "Challenges of Modernity" features a line-up of short films devoted to the Fantasy, Sci-Fi or Terror movies these last days of the festival in the Invicta, starting 1 March, at the Small Auditorium of Rivoli.
